hood catch

Does anyone know which of the big three has the sturdiest hood catch
assembly.  The catch bar on mine is loose and misaligned and you can drop
the bonnet to close, rather have to move the catch bar back with your finger
to fit over the catch and then push close.  After removing to adjust I saw
how flimsy and easily bent the whole arrangement is and am hoping to replace
it with something stronger.  Thanks
