Bill-
Am I correct in reading your message- 10" Datsun 710 shoes will
work in a 10" Triumph rear brake setup? Drums, too? If so, this is
terrific news, as I was just about to call the Rudester Factory for some of
their $75.00 +++++ shoesets. Datsun's will hopefully be less, and no
shipping charges!

Roger,
I was quite suprised to find that the 10" rear Girling drums on my '57 TR3
are
the same (stud spacing, size, shoes and cylinders) as those on my
daughters
'77 Datsun 710 and I suspect on many other Datsuns as well. I know that
this is heresey, but after all, Girling *did supply others* than just
Triumph.
You may find a wider range of suppliers and lower prices if you expand the
market...they were available at my local auto store....
Of course I discovered this after I had bought the parts from the usual TR
sources. ;-))
My $.02 FWIW, Good luck
