Unfortuntately not. At least not so you'd gain anything in the effort. Bottom
line is that the bushings are a really tight fit. So tight that you have to be
able to PUSH them out. Even if you could cut the ears off and even if you could
somehow grasp the bushing, the effort to pull the bushing would most likely
result in the steering column moving and then you'd have to get to the bolts
clamping it down anyhow.

Has anyone replaced the steering column bushings in their TR6? Is it
possible to replace just the top bushing without removing the whole
steering column?
