The trick is that you really do need the special Churchill tool, or a
replica.  Although you _may_ be able to get the hub off with either an
ordinary hub puller, or by removing the entire half shaft and taking it
to a shop to have the hub pressed off,  most people have found these
methods distort the hub, making it unusable.

I don't have the info handy at the moment, but someone posted to the
list recently that they had a shop class that was going to manufacture
and sell 6 Churchill hub pullers this year.  Try searching the archives

for more info.

Or, your local club might have one available.  In Southern California,
Hermann van den  Akker has made one that he loans to club members ...
