Looks like I'm still in the market for a flame trap. It seems that any
attempt to remove the plug from the block, while the engine is in the car,
could prove to be a nightmare. Even with the engine out, it is not an easy
job. I've decided that a running engine with a non original carb and breather
setup is better than trying to convert at this time. Best suggestion I had
was to wait until it was time to rebuild. The car will be a daily driver, so
I'm not worried about losing points for originality. So, again I ask. Does
anyone have a spare flame trap or an idea as to how I can fabricate one?
