Brad purchased the surry top from me.  The soft top originally had the front 
stiffner rivited to the canvas.  Since the top would not fit under the 
windscreen lip, I drilled out the rivits and thus the holes.
The front stiffiner should filt neatly under the lip of the front screen.  
You may have to gently pry the lip up slightly.
