Seems like Eastwood has been selling it's powder coating kits for only about a year. I'm wondering about listers experience with their product. Powder coating is supposed to be more durable than paint. Does Eastwoods product meet expectations? There has been mail in the past about how great it is to use (Fred Thomas - "The Mad Powder Coater"). But does it hold up? What exactly is it? Some type of ceramic? What makes powder more durable than paint? My son is thinking of getting a kit and powder coating the air cleaner on the 196? Jeep CJ5 he's working on. He can be the guinea pig in the family garage I guess. Thanks Winnie |
