IMO, until the engine is cool enough that the thermostat starts to
close, a 20 degree drop in outside air temp should roughly equal a 20
degree drop in radiator temp.
>From a thermodynamics point of view, it's actually a ratio, but since
the base value is absolute zero, a constant difference is a pretty good
approximation.
