The car will ride a lot better with springs.  I'd replace them.

OK, if you had some sag on one or both springs I'd replace them.  Don't know how
much you can tell with them off the car except for the obvious, height
difference, etc..

Upgraded springs are a good idea if you've still got the stock springs.  And
since you've got them out already.....

How can I tell if my springs need to be replaced or not? I have them out of
the car if that helps.
