I goofed and bought a non-skirted TR3 thermostat on eBay. It's a Smiths #X85035/86. It didn't cost much, so it probably isn't worth the postage and hassle to return it to the seller. Other than the lack of a sleeve, it appears to be correct. What are my chances of successfully modifying it by adding a sleeve? A few months back, I read on the list that a Jag outfit does this. Has anyone here ever performed such a modification? Thanks -mg |
