I had posted a question about what the trick was to getting these installed.
Very helpful responses. Thanks everyone that offered suggestions.

Here's what I found.....after strggling for a week with these, and trying
every suggestion offered, and even trying to make a tool that would assist,
it occurred to me that maybe I was using bad parts. I ordered a new rebuild
kit from Moss (part number 583-000). It came in a green Lucas box and was
labeled Girling on the bottom. These went right in. I had all four pistons
done in 20 minutes.

The parts I was having problems with were Moprod (part number 7-640) which I
had purchased through VB. They were more of a Plastisized material than the
rubber Girling parts.

Installation is no trick. Just seated the dust covers into the proper groove
in the cylinder bore, everything lubed up with brake fluid, and started the
piston after working the skirt of the cover over the piston with a small
screwdriver being careful not to score the piston. Works like a champ when
the skirt has enough give to actually fit.

Anyhow, thanks again for the help.
