Working down the list of repairs for my TR6 and now on the turn signals.
The self-canceling will not work. Pulled the trun signal assembly off the
steering column and the two cams and springs are in place and seem to move
okay. Does the placement of the steering column make a difference. The
column (in the engine compartment) was removed when the car was stripped
down to bare metal and repainted. When it was replaced, the steering wheel
was about 90 degrees off from its original position and needed to be
recentered. Would this cause the problem? Does the column need to be
adjusted? TIA
