While in the parts store the other day I went sifting through the "Your choice
$4.44" tool bin and found one of those squared off C clamp looking ball joint
separators. This thing is sweet considering I payed about $13 for one of the
forks that you slap with a hammer and it tore up every boot when I used it.
This one takes about half to one turn with a wrench and the joint separates
with a snap - no boot damage, no effort, no smacked fingers.
Next time you're at the parts store check out the cheap tools bin.
