I am beginning the long-term restoration of my USA spec '71 GT6 Mk III and
wondered if anyone (still) had the dealer-installed gold stripe kit on their
car or if knew if one was available. The kit is pictured on the options
page of the GT6 dealer brochure (GT712) that dates from either 1971 or 1972.
I would like to find one for myself or maybe prevail upon a GT6 owner who
has it on their car to measure the dimensions for me.
I am pretty sure that the kit was an option offered by the dealers and not
the factory, but the more knowledgeable members on the list may know more
about that.
Thanks again to all those GT6 enthusiasts on the Spits List who shared
information about the pros and cons of the spin-on oil filter adaptor.
