Not trying to pick a bone or anything but I have to ask...
Are the panels on older cars (British specifically and TR6s even more
specifically since that's what I'm most familiar with) really that light a
gauge? When I look at the steel on my 6, it makes my 87 VW GTI (a great car
BTW) look like it's made of paper. I always thought the 6 had pretty hefty
sheetmetal. Am I just deluding myself?
Appreciate info from those with a broader experience base than mine.
