One of those useless facts. The upper shift lever seal on a Model 10 transmission linkage is the same inside and outside diameter as the master cylinder dust boot off a TR3. You only need to cut around the outer most diameter to make it one ply rather than two (two fits, but the seal is then to fat for the securing cap to lock down.) Ask me know I know.
