Cliff- Another thing to think about is the shrinkage which the new chrome finish strips undergo over time. I cut mine to fit just right, and after a while the little metal finisher would no longer cover the gap. I don't know if it's UV exposure, or what, that causes it. I bought another one, and intend to let it sit outside for awhile, and hopefully finish shrinking, before I cut and install it. Good luck. Lex Garey, Shelby, NC, '74 TR6 |
