thanks to all who advised me that it's probably the throwout bearing or pilot bushing making the high-pitched whine when i depress the clutch. one followup question: some of you said it probably doesn't have to be replaced immediately. short of letting it fail completely, is there any way to tell when driving it anymore is too risky? tia ian CF57345U |
