Went to the local super market yesterday (Stop&Shop, large New England chain)
and found the following:
Old Speckled Hen draught lager. Brewed by Morland plc, in of all places,
Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The label on the can attributes the name to a famous
MG race car from days of yore. Also included in the deal was a 1 pt pub glass
with RUDDLES ALES printed on it and a pub towel with OLD SPECKLED HEN
printed on it. Four 440ml cans, the glass and towel for $5.99, not a bad
deal, and
not a bad drink either. I expect all you New England based MG types will rush
to your nearest S&S and deplete their stock fortwith.
