Because I am doing a frame off restoration, I figured that I would replace the
differential seal. Even with the easy access that I had, it was a bear to get
out. If memory serves me right it took a couple of hours and I literally
removed the seal in pieces. However, I'm glad that I replaced it. The
original seal was leather and was completely dried out and brittle.
If you have acces to a seal puller the job should be easier., but you will
have to drop the drive shaft. If you don't mind your triumph "marking it's
spot" just keep checking and adding fluid (fluif for the brake guys).
