And why NOT? I know of at least one instance of this. Someone lucked into
an incredibly pristine, low mileage original TR3A with OEM Dunlop wide
whites mounted on wire wheels. So as to be able to use the car safely,
they bought an extra set of wires and used more modern tires. But they
put the Dunlops back on for show.
Better to have trailer queen TIRES than a trailer queen CAR, right? :-)
