I helped a friend replace a TR4 body. He put eyebolts through the body mount locations at the front/rear door openings. He ran a length of chain across the door areas and used a 5' length of pipe (2" galvanized) between the two chains. He raised/lowered the body with an engine hoist connected to the center of the bar. This made it very easy. You will need to use a floor jack and some blocks of wood for the first/last couple inches to install/remove the eyebolts. No strength needed and chance of anyone hurting their backs. Brian Kemp 72 TR6 |
