I was driving though the Angeles Forest in the 79 TR7 and got a little to aggressive. When the 45 mile trip was done I could hear a bit of valve chatter. The head has less than 2K on it and I rebuilt the lower end about 500 miles ago. When I checked the clearances I found two valve had gone well below clearance right in the center of the head both were at .001 and should be .008. It did not overheat and I kept the Revs below 4.5k. Any Ideas or clues? Byron |
