On my XJ6, several years ago, I had similar vibration in the front end and the
shop found it was a bad tire. I repalced it with the same brand (under
warranty), and the new tire did the same thing. Turned out there was a bad run
on that particular tire and I had two "out of round" tires. Went to another
brand and no problem. I believe they were Western Auto tires made by Kelly.
