All,

Just in the final assembly stage after rebuilding "Rags'" front end
(poly bushings, Koni shocks, "competition springs, Al steering rack mounts,
bearings, ball-joints, paint, etc, etc, etc), and I was wondering if
I could lower the front end even more by eliminating the rubber coil spring
packing material?

The blue/white competition springs from Moss will lower the car approx.
1.5", but I was looking to lower the car 2" or more.

Would it be OK to run the coil spring directly on the metal of the
spring pad or the coil tower?

TIA,
