List:
A new question. (The nice thing about a full restoration is there's always
several things to do at at time. It's one of thew few times my limited
attention span comes in handy).
To work on the frame, we raised the entire car up and then supported the tub
and lowered the chassis. It worked fine but...
When the engine went down the heater pipe that runs across the rear of the
engine block hung up on the pipe (?) that extends from the gas pedal
mechanism
across to the throttle. Bent it down in an extended "u" - put the gas pedal
up
under the dash.
I see a cotter pin on the passenger side, rivet-like devices in both ends,
and flanges that are boltred to the tub. Any suggestions on the easiest way
to
get the part off to be straightened. Or to replace it - is that part
available? - what's it called anyway?
Once again, TIA.
