Jim
According to the UK Moss catalog the best thing to do is to use the TR4 exhasut
set up which is effectively a bracket which is attached to the gearbox
mounting,
and a circular clamp which bot holds the two parts of the exhaust together and
holds the exhaust up via the bracket. This system is suposed to be better than
any of the previous (TR2-3A) systems because it allows the exhaust to rock as
the
engine moves. I have this on my TR4 and have had no problems, and intend to
use
it on my TR2. The parts numbers I have are different to yours, as in the Moss
catalog they are the same as the original workshop parts manual.
