Request for help regarding filtering mail in Microsoft Outlook 97 -- NO LBC CONTENT

Sorry to bomb the list:

I'm hoping someone can help me with filtering my mail in Microsoft Outlook 97 
to automatically move mail meeting certain criteria to files I designate.  It 
seems that I should be able to do this, but I cannot figure out how to make the 
"filter" do this.

Please email me off list if possible - do reduce traffic on the list.
