Sorry to bomb the list, but here's my continuing problem-
94 Nissan 300ZX howls like a banshee first thing in the morning when its
below 50F for about a mile. Last May, Nissan dealer replaces clutch
pilot bushing under warranty.Clutch is pretty worn, hot spots on
flywheel. I pay for all new clutch parts, disc, pressure plate, throwout
bearing. Still howlee, but by then weather warmed up so it stopped. Now
weather is cold again, took car back in, Dealer says wil replace bushing
again,.I protest thats not the problem, but they pull the tranny anyway.
I get a call to say new clutch is worn out after 5000 miles, and NO, I
dont coast with the clutch disengaged, or balance the car on hills with
it.Am I being taken? They are covering 90% of the costs. How could a
clutch wear out when it never showed any signs of slipping?( Unless they
never really put all those new parts in I paid for). I usually get
100,000 miles out of a Ford clutch. Any suggestions apreciated.
