Actually had you found one you would have seen that the required bolt has a
head on it which makes it almost as big as the EGR valve! I found such a
bolt when plugging my EGR hole but decided that the look would be just way
too tacky for me. So instead, I went to a local industrial fastener place
and obtained a 3/4 UNF set screw. Not cheap! I think I paid $5 or 6 Canadian
for one of these. But to me it was worth it -- I now have a plug for my EGR
hole which is completely flush with the cylinder head surface but for the
recessed hex for the allen key which I used to tighten the thing. (For a
seal I ended up using some exhaust sealer on the threads). It's worked out
fine so far.
