Stock inlet manifold with adaptor or modified, enlarged manifold, that
is the question. I would first try the adaptor route. Reason being is
that it has been shown by Triumphtune to work. The one thing I would
worry about with Maurice's modified manifold is how much should it be
enlarged. Bigger is not always better. If it is enlarged to much, you
risk reducing the mixture velocity, potentially causing separation of
fuel and air. The smaller area keeps the velocity high and helps keep
everything in suspension. Could be that Maurice hit it right on the
money, but it seems that with out flow bench testing it's a best guess
shot.
