I've been forced to use my GT6 as a daily driver for a few weeks. Only
problem is that it is not idling well when cold. I thought I had the
carbs set up right. Correct response on lifting the piston slightly.
The car starts up right away using the manual choke, but I have to open
the choke and nurse it with the throttle until warm. Once warm it idles
fine. When I try to close off the choke to try to get it to idle cold
it seems to bog down, stutter and die.
Should I richen the mixture a bit?
Any thoughts? I've only got another week of it as my daily driver, but
I'd like to have it idling smoothly.
