I recently saw an article (I think it was in the VTR journal, but I am not at
home and can't check to be sure), about using fiberglass to strengthen the
door. The patch goes inside the door, around the handle. I am currently
restoring a TR3B, and plan to make this modification when I get to that point
(at current rate, about three years from now).
