Listers, I just placed the Ignitor, which was rather easy to do, and the car runs well. I would however like to know how close to the center magnet wheel do you position the sensor. I presently have a 3mm clearance, is that too close ? I also plugged the vacuum going to the retard unit and the timing is set at 10 degrees BTDC. Acceleration is much better through the gears, but passing speed acceleration is not as impressive, is this due to not having the retard connected? Thanks Jack '74 TR6 |
