Friends -
Anyone who attended the VTR national meet at Hudson WI or the BRIC race
at Road America the preceding week will want to get a copy of the
current issue of Triumph Over Triumph - the magazine published in the UK
by Paul Richardson, former Triumph factory employee and the son of
Triumph test driver Ken Richardson. There are accounts of Paul's trip
to both events (courtesy of Iowa's Joe Alexander and others) and the
"British perspective" on us American Triumph racers, drivers, restorers
and other folk. Among those mentioned are Jack Drews, Joe Alexander,
Bill Dentinger, Mordy Dunst, Don Brick & etc.
If pictures and accounts of the Triumphs participating in the races at
the BRIC aren't enough for you, you'll find the (front and backside)
photos of our own nattily attired Irv Korey well worth the price of
admission. There's even an oblique, and thankfully anonymous, reference
to the undersigned.
Paul puts out a wonderful magazine, in which I have no particular
interest other than as a subscriber.
So what in the world is a "sand boy" and why are they so happy?
