TR6 Rear Valance

I'm going to be polishing up the TR6 for the Steamboat Springs Vintage Auto Race
(I'm not racing...just doing the car show) next Labor Day weekend.  I was
wondering what to do to the real valance or more specifically " the rear valence
inside of the "body ridges" that is painted semi-flat black."  to spiff it up
when I wash and wax the rest of the car.  Would a little Armour All type of
product be a good idea?
  
What have you found to work best? Suggestions?
