You might be squeaking once they got hot.  I had squeaky brakes, but only
after they got warm, and sprayed some "Stop Squeak" on the rears of the
pads.  Took out 99.99% of the problem.  Spray or liquid squeak stop is cheap
and available from even your least favorite auto parts store.

I have a brake questioned for the list. My 79 Spit has a squeaky front brake
but only after 60 or 70 miles of driving. The next day the noise is gone .
