Dear Listers, I have a '70 TR6 and I thought I'd replace the "GO" pedal shaft bearings since there was alot of play in the throttle linkage. Has anyone done this before? How do you get the bushings in the firewall? It is impossible! I trashed the bushing by cutting them and then cutting a clunk out to install them only to find out the hole is to small for the shaft to go through. My finger tips are sore. What is the wrong?
