I'm 6'3" and about 195.  I drove a '79 Spit for five years and always
thought it had plenty of room, top up or down.  In contrast, the '73 TR6
I have now feels considerably more cramped, both in terms of legroom and
shoulder room.  Don't know what the numbers say, but there's plenty of
room in a Spit.
