Well, I've gone every year they've had the event, so perhaps I can help.
Lotus is the marque of feature.

I went last year (as a Pit Marshal, directing cars from the pits back onto the
track) Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Friday and Saturday are practice and
Qualifying and perhaps a couple of races. Monday are the races. Sunday is a
Concours of not just race cars, but all types of interesting cars set up on
the main straight... Of course, you can view some of the racecars that aren't
in the trailers in the Paddock. The Swap Meet is all days, but perhaps best
Saturday and perhaps Sunday (Ted Schumacher is always there, BTW. order your
parts in advance...). A few years I skipped Sunday and Monday, preferring
Friday and Saturday and going to New Hampshire Sunday and Monday.

True. Local laws

See above

Good if you can find one. Visit www.limerockpark.com (or something close) and
get the Lime Rock Track Record for all sorts of information, lodging, eating,
etc. (newspaper, free, call 800 number). It's Labor Day Weekend in the
Berkshires, everything is booked early.

I live 35 miles away, so no. Lots of fellow workers camp at the track, so it
can't be all bad.

Look for me in the Pits (or swap meet)! White pants and light-blue shirt...
John Espisito will be there in the swap meet (or usually is) with roller
rockers, 1.5" SU setups for Spitfires and transmissions, etc. Lots of fun!
