I flash my lights a lot when someone in front of me thinks he is entitled to
the fast lane, even though he is driving slower than those in the slow lane.
All it gets me in the states is the "bird"...

If only they had the death penalty for idiot drivers, the highways would be
much clearer and faster!!

but I
definately don't fit into the 'teenager' group. Most people can't
keep up
with me long enough to 'tailgate' me, and maybe it is the look of
determination on my face that ensures that people get out of my way.
I
don't find myself intimidated by anything I may encounter on the
road, from
        18 wheelers on down.

roads we have in
the Texas Hill Country, but positive driving always seems to win the
day.

        > One of my pet peeves is people who can't make up their
minds, or make
them up at the last minute and don't bother to signal their
intentions. Of
course that is not all!!!!!!!!! There are those people who will
insist
on staying in the 'fast' lane, (that I encounter _when_ I _have_
to
travel on a four lane road) and when they decide to drive in tandem
with
another like minded person, just because they happen to be doing
identical
speeds, drives me to distraction. It is such a pity that Americans
can't
adopt the practice of European drivers who put their headlights on
to
advise people of a greater speed, and reminds them to get out of the
way.
