Hi, All,
I've spent two afternoons grit blasting one of the alloy wheels from the
2.5S donor. I use an Eastwood Bench Blast Cabinet with carborundum grit,
having masked off -with tank tape-the parts of the wheel which need to be
polished.
Under the scaggy black paint the DPO put on is original black powder
coating. The grit will remove this but the process is slow and upsets my
compressor.
Does anyone know of a way of getting rid of old powder coating without
wrecking the wheels?
Thanks, Dave Hill, UK.
