Angelo,
Because the steering box side silentbloc bush seperated, I was able removed
the center (or steering) link the easy way. I seperated the two tie rod
ends from each other by removing the tie rods from each side. Then simply
unbolting the the lever arm allowed me to remove almost the entire steering
assembly. All that is left in the car is the steering box, with it's drop
arm and that @%@#$#@ stud (the remains of the silentbloc) and the rod ends
on the wheels. The rest of the silentbloc, the rubber and steel tube, is
still attached to the center link.
I have not tried loosening the steering box to gain some movement for using
the puller. That is a good idea. Thanks.
