Phil;
I run 215-65's on my 6 (Comp T/A's) and I think they look fine. If you
have installed the uprated springs they sometimes make the car look
higher. Most of these advertise stock height but I think some owners
are use to the height of their sagging stock springs and are suprised
when they install the new ones. I don't have any pads under my springs
and this helps. I run these tires on 15 x 7 panasports and clearance is
not a problem except when backing up with the front wheels at full
turn. Extended bolts and spacers are the solution but a problem to
install. I sometimes wonder about tires and sizes. Go to a big tire
store and place 3 or four different brands of the same size together.
They don't all look the same. Of course mounted it may be different but
who wants to trial mount and I doubt if too many tire places would be
into that.
P. S. Hang in there on the wheels. TRF is still the best place to buy
Triumph parts. Call John and he will give you the straight scoop on the
delivery.
Bob
