Hello all,
Thanks to those who responded to my previous question re: engine
shipping.
It is on it's way!
Next Question: I just purchased a '69 Austin America.
I now have to pass the emmisions testing for Washington State, US.
The car/engine are in reasonable shape. The engine runs decently,
although is emits some blue/grey smoke in the morning when starting up
from cold.
Does anyone have any experience or advice on adjusting the carb for the
best chance to pass the emmisions testing?
Also, can anyone recommend a good British Car mechanic or shop in the
Seattle/Western WA region?
Please respond directly to: "howard.c.carter@boeing.com", since I am
mostly lurking and digesting at the moment.
Thanks much,
Howard 425-454-3608
