Listers, I write for a net impaired friend in the TDC who has "broken" his front shocks on his 70 TR6. The piston rod pulled completely out of the shock body!!! When he bought the car someone had replaced the original shocks with larger ones with a longer travel - suggesting this may not be the first occurance. Herb is now running stock springs and shocks. Anybody ever seen another case of this?!? Please reply directly if you can shed light on this shocking tale. Dave Terrick Winnipeg ...drink your pint before it gets cold! |
