I must be confused about brake fluids. My understanding is DOT 3 and
DOT 4 are compatable. DOT 5 (silicon) is not to be mixed with DOT 3
or DOT 4, and requires new seals as the rubber will perish if used
with DOT 3/4 and then DOT 5. Am I mistaken ? Is this why I keep
replacing brake / clutch seals ? I'm now wondering if there are
differences between US and UK brake fluids ? Is this why all my
hydaulic seal failed since I've in Texas? I put in down to the
climate changes.

Kent Cams - I wanted one in my Spitire when I had the engine rebuilt.
I used a highly recommended shop in London, run by an ex Triumph
engineer. He said Kent cams are a POS, and refused to put one in. I
would however like to run a hotter cam - anyone know of any (non
Kent) options ?

Thanks all

Neil
