Yes, the angle of the bowl can depend on the car.  I have H6s on both my
TR3s and on my Healey, and the bowls are at different angles.  As I
recall, that's about the only difference.  Fuel line attachment can also
vary.

A friend of mine put SUs on TR6, years ago, and the performance increase
was noticable.
