RE:dead/weak battery

Check your water level.  Even maintanence free batteries need water
added during their life, especially if they are discharge then charged
to any extreem.  If your battery seems to be getting weak, it may be
trying to tell you it's thirsty.  I learned this at the cost of
replacing an 18 month old battery.

I also keep jumper cables with my spare tire.  Never needed them myself,
but helped others twice.
