I do not understand this thread. No pun intended but the threads of the bleeder screw are not what "seals" the system, the end of the screw seals against the recess in the caliper body. You would have to be a great machinist to drill out a bleeder screw and helicoil or tap this hole oversize without destroying the sealing surface. You certainly should not try this with hand tools. If the brakes have received little attention for 10 years the bleed screw is probably corroded in place. Judicious heat application and an easy-out of the proper size should remove it.
